Enhancing the Patient Experience
New Lobby - Completed October 2015
As our community continues to grow, Memorial Hospital of Tampa continues to expand to meet the healthcare needs of our community and improve the patient and guest experience.
In addition to a new lobby and concierge service center, the project will include the creation of 47 private patient rooms, 18,500 square feet of new surgical space, and 2 new operating rooms with shell space for another, bringing the total to 9 operating rooms upon completion. All patient rooms will be renovated to enhance healing and encourage family participation in the recovery process. Forty-seven rooms will be private and patients and guests will be supported through a new concierge service center, renovated lobby and waiting room amenities. The hospital will continue to provide free parking.
